You can find books, eBooks, DVDs, and even electronic equipment on the Destiny catalog.
The Destiny Quest site allows you to place books on hold, renew books you currently have checked out, and even create lists of books you have read, are currently reading or wish to read in the future. Follow the simple steps below to create an account and give yourself the freedom to manage your account from any computer, any place, at any time.
First:
Click on "Create Account" on the bar at the top of the Destiny Quest page.
Second:
You will be asked to enter your name and barcode number. Come see Ms. Florio or Mr. Fisher in the library for your number. You will then be prompted to enter a username and password. You now have a Destiny account.
To place a book on hold, find the book you want in the catalog and click "Hold It!". The book in the image below is currently checked out, but an email will be sent to the librarian and she will hold the book for you when it comes in. If the book is in, you will receive an email to pick up your book, which will be held for you for three days.
To Renew a book, click on the "My Info" tab at the top of the Destiny page. This window will pop-up on the page. Click on the "Renew" button and your book will be renewed for an additional three weeks. However, if someone else has placed a hold on the book or if it is a new book in our collection, you will not be able to renew it.
